Annette Behm-Caldwell
Annette Behm-Caldwell, Open Road Honda

Annette joined the Chamber Board of Directors in 2008. Since her start, she has worked to represent Mandan and all small, retail businesses that have unique needs and concerns. Annette is the ideal board member to serve in that capacity, considering she and her husband Dusty are the dealer principals of Open Road Honda in Mandan.

"Being on the Chamber board is a wonderful opportunity to give back to the business community and help improve the Bismarck-Mandan business climate," she says. Looking ahead, Annette anticipates additional networking opportunities targeted at small business.

Tom Todd
Tom Todd, Northwest Contracting

Tom Todd has spent the past two years on the board and the past 26 years working for Northwest Contracting. According to Tom, his spot on the board enables him to connect with many areas of the Bismarck-Mandan community. In addition, "Being on the board provides me the opportunity to be a voice for business in the community," he said. Tom looks forward to helping enhance the business community.

Marc Taylor
Marc Taylor, Northern Plains Equipment

Marc Taylor is the president/manager of Northern Plains Equipment Co., Inc. in Mandan. As new member of the Chamber Board, Marc brings a fresh perspective; his work and life experiences add an agricultural outlook too.

"[This is my] chance to have a positive impact on our community," Marc said in reference to his recent appointment.
As far as his first year goals go, Marc wants to help create a positive image of the community for prospective, new businesses and wants to improve the environment for current businesses.

Chris Brown
Chris Brown, Motix

Chris Brown is the owner of Motix, a consulting company helping small businesses achieve their goals.

Asked about his recent board appointment, Chris says, "To me, being a member of the board gives me a chance to give back to the Chamber and to the community. Giving to others is a priority for me, and I try and help out wherever I can."

Chris is excited to represent smaller businesses as a new board member. It is his desire to provide input from a small business perspective.

In the year ahead, Chris wants to learn more about the work of the Chamber, to provide valued insight and assistance in policy setting, and to be an active member of the Chamber.

Craig Lambrecht
Craig Lambrecht, Medcenter One Health Systems

Craig Lambrecht is the president/CEO of Medcenter One Health Systems. In addition to managing the wellbeing of our community's residents, Craig hopes that his participation on the Chamber Board of Directors will allow him to care for the growth of Bismarck-Mandan.

Craig's background brings a unique perspective to the board and business community, "Hopefully having the perspective of a large healthcare provider will further the discussion of how important healthcare is to the economic stability and growth of Bismarck-Mandan."

Craig looks forward to serving Bismarck-Mandan during his tenure on the board.

Jeff Albers
Jeff Albers, Schwan GM Auto Center

Jeff Albers is the general sales manager for Schwan GM Auto Center. As the GM, Jeff is responsible for the adminstration and operation of sales and personnel.

Jeff is excited to get more involved in community activities and the growth of the community as a member of the Chamber board. He plans to bring a lot of new ideas to the meetings.

Heather Jones
Heather Jones, City Air Mechanical

Heather Jones is the president of City Air Mechanical, a full-service, design, build and maintenance mechanical contractor. Her company offers engineering and construction services for plumbing, heating and air across Western North Dakota.

According to Heather, her seat on the board gives her the chance to have a real voice in the local business community. She also states that it will bring her company together with other talented businesses to guide the business environment.

"I bring a unique perspective," Heather says. "From the challenges faced by a woman-owned business in the construction industry."

Throughout her tenure, Heather hopes to help Bismarck-Mandan become a place where business and entrepreneurial minds can grow and thrive.

Ed Wolff
Ed Wolff, NISC

Ed Wolff is vice president of Enterprise Solutions at National Information Solutions Cooperative (NISC) in Mandan. "I always enjoy talking about NISC because so few people in our community have heard of us even though we have 430 employees locally, four offices in four states, and more than 900 employees total," he said. Our primary business is to provide information technology solutions and services to Electric and Telephone companies nationwide.

According to Ed, his involvement on the board is just one way for NISC to participate and contribute to the business leadership in our local community.

"Hopefully we can provide a more global perspective into most business discussions because of the footprint of our customer base," Ed said about his involvement on the board. "We have been involved in many business activities including the leveraging of technology, a large virtual employee base, consolidations, acquisitions, new business start ups and more."
